Follow HWY 101 south to 156 west/Monterey exit
(approx. 1/2 hour past Gilroy)
HWY 156 will be a two lane road for about 4 miles
HWY 156 becomes HWY 1 south to Ocean Avenue (signal)
Turn right (main street of Carmel)
Follow Ocean Avenue to Camino Real (3 blocks before the beach)
Turn left proceed two blocks to Eighth Avenue
The hotel is on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Camino Real
Directions to La Playa Hotel From the South:
Follow HWY 101 north to HWY 68/Monterey Peninsula exit
Follow signs to Monterey
Take HWY 68 west to HWY 1 south
Follow HWY 1 to Ocean Avenue (signal)
Turn right (Main street of Carmel)
Follow Ocean Avenue to Camino Real (3 blocks before the beach)
Turn left, proceed two blocks to Eighth Avenue
The hotel is on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Camino Real
